  1. The day I reached “One”derland, as we call it in our community, I cried. That’s when you weight in the 100’s rather than the 200’s. My official goal is 150 pounds, so I have 25 pounds to go. I have so much to be grateful for and so much to look forward to in the future. I recently went for a visit back home to Cape Breton, while there I did the Cabot Trail Skyline. That’s where you hike approximately 8 km. At 261 I wouldn’t have even considered it. This time around, it was my idea and I finished it with the biggest smile on the outside and on the inside.

January 19th, 2016 was a giant step towards bettering my mind, my body and my soul. It’s the day I took my life back into my own hands.

Thank you Dr Valenzuela, your amazing team and MBC.

  2. Praise report: I was worried because I had gained weight directly after my surgery on 8/12 (fluid weight from all the saline) but as of today which is only 8 days after surgery I have lost 16lbs! God is sooooo Good… And so is Dr. Louisiana Valenzuela!!! If I had to go back and pay the extra $500 for her again I wouldn’t even think twice about it! She’s worth EVERY penny of that extra $500!! I just love her!! What a blessing this whole experience has been!

  3. It’s my 1 year anniversary since being sleeved! HW 285, SW 270, CW 215. I wanted to make it a total loss of 100 but I have slowed down a lot and sometimes get down on myself. However, I am very happy with the 70 I have lost and know I will loose even more. Thank you Dr. Valenzuela and the MBC team.
